Associate Editor

Networld Media Group is looking for an Associate Editor to produce content for its industry websites and events.  The ideal candidate will have a journalism background with a keen eye for spotting trends in business-to-business markets. 

The candidate must have experience working in a team environment, as well as the ability to produce creative content for market distribution on tight deadlines. The position covers news, trends, industry analysis, new products and all other pertinent information for readership on both the buy/sell side of specific industry markets. 

The candidate will participate in all types of content distribution including news feeds, webinars, email newsletters, videos, press releases, blogs and social media.

Our markets include technology, payments, business, retail and foodservice.

The ideal candidate must have high energy, a passion for writing and reporting and 2-3 years’ experience in journalism, communications or a related field.  Some travel required.

Editorial Director

Networld Media Group is a successful niche B2B publisher focused on digital media and events. We have an opening for a Louisville-based editorial director who will oversee a team of highly experienced site editors and report to our EVP & publisher.

The editorial director will manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s entire content output, including news, features, videos, custom content and social media. The position requires hands-on writing, project management, people management and some interaction with clients. Top candidates will have an accomplished journalism background and a high comfort level with online publishing.

The editorial director should be a detail-oriented person, while at the same time able to engage in strategic thinking.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily check-ins and coaching of site editors and the custom content editor
  • Run weekly editorial meetings
  • Manage and build relationships with bloggers, freelancers, and other outside content providers
  • Collaborate with the audience development manager to increase traffic
  • Work closely with the publisher to execute content strategy

Required experience:

  • Proven writing and editing skills
  • Solid news judgment
  • Extensive use of content management systems
  • Demonstrated experience with video, social media and custom content
  • Mature people skills

Online Media Account Executive

Louisville-based online publisher Networld Media Group is seeking an aggressive, self-motivated individual to join our organization. Your job will be to develop new leads, cold-call potential clients, manage existing customer relationships and close deals over the telephone or in person.

You will sell a range of products from advertising, lead generation and executive-level summits to custom publishing and other services within a full online portfolio.
